This makes a great start to your day or a fabulous healthy food boost at any time

Ingredients:

Serves 2

Smoothie Base

Topping and Decoration

  • Fresh blackcurrants or blackberries
  • Sprinkles of granola or toasted oats
  • Edible flowers (optional)

Method:

Put the yogurt, banana, chia seeds (if required), milk, rolled oats and frozen fruit (if required) together into a blender and whizz up for approx. 2 minutes to a smooth consistency.

Pour into a bowl and decorate with sprinkles of granola or toasted oats for a bit of crunch and fresh fruit for extra nutrition.

Top with a scattering of edible flowers for that extra special touch!
