Friday night is nearly always curry night for us, and we’re big fans of the traditional one pot, but these super healthy protein packed Tandoori Prawn skewers are a great Indian alternative. They are made in 15 minutes start to finish. You could also use chicken.⠀

Ingredients:

  • 300g raw tiger prawns⠀
  • 1 tbsp Tims Dairy Greek style natural yogurt
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic ⠀
  • 1 thumb sized piece grated ginger ⠀
  • 1 tbsp tandoori spice mix⠀
  • 1 tsp chilli powder ⠀
  • Juice of a 1/2 lemon ⠀

Dipping sauce (optional)

Blitz in a mini chopper or bullet⠀

  • 2 tbsp Tims Dairy Greek style natural yogurt⠀
  • 1 thumb sized piece of grated ginger ⠀⠀
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic ⠀⠀
  • 2 tsps ground cumin ⠀⠀
  • 2 tsps ground coriander ⠀⠀
  • Juice half lemon ⠀⠀
  • 2 green chillies de-seeded ⠀⠀
  • 10g fresh coriander ⠀⠀

Method:

Mix the marinade ingredients together and coat the prawns. Thread the prawns onto skewers. Fry the prawns in a really hot pan in a little ground nut oil for a minute on each side or until they turn pink. Alternatively cook at 210 degrees for 7 minutes. Serve with Indian bread and rice if you fancy.⠀
