Location Information of Interest
At Tims Dairy it is an important part of our ethos to maintain a connection with the local community and an awareness of the wider community of organisations with whom we are associated.
We would like to mention several organisations that you may find of interest:-
Chalfont St Peter is our local vibrant village community. It has 34 Grade II listed buildings considered fine and precious examples of early village buildings, and among them is Mopes Farm House, Denham Lane on whose land our Dairy facility is situated. Chalfont St Peter has a total population of about 13,000 people, and is an active community with many clubs, societies and volunteer action groups. It is well known for its community spirit, its very popular annual summer Feast Day (held on the village common) and the Christmas Fun Night, which we are delighted to support every year.
The Chamber of Commerce was set up in 1948 (1 year before Tims Dairy first started) and consists of members, both corporate and individual, who have an interest in business in the village. Members range from village shops to businesses and service providers. The Chamber also supports selected charitable organisations relevant to its members.
The Colne Valley Regional Park provides the first area of countryside to the west of London. The Park, which was founded in 1965, stretches from Rickmansworth in the north to Staines and the Thames in the south, Uxbridge and Heathrow in the east to Slough and Chalfont in the west.
